Since New York City is so alive with interesting people–all of them walking, walking everywhere in a big hurry–I was compelled to do a second entry for this month’s Virtual Paintout in Manhattan.
This one is 290 W. 42nd St. and I call it “The Out-of-Towners.”
this is fun… but i wonder about the ‘out of towners’. wouldn’t they love to see the drawing? how to track them down…

They looked kind of dazed by all the action around them. Maybe their first time in the “Big Apple”?

Ha. They don’t look like they are having fun!

They look a little shifty-eyed. I’m thinking South Carolina. Those cat’s eye glasses frames she’s sportin’ are a dead giveaway. The perm, too.

Those people are so expressive with such simple lines!

Thanks, bmj2k! Manhattan has been really something to observe. I could probably plunk the little yellow Google map man down on any street and find interesting stuff to draw.

Note to self: if you ever wear a pouch, don’t wear it over your crotch.
Thank you, TTPT. You’ve done a public service today.
