These silhouettes are in a grouping over the couch in my bedroom. Some are almost twenty years old and some are a little more recent. I wasn’t about to remove them from the wall and their frames to scan them, so the next best (worst?) thing was to try to snap some photos of them. (Pay no attention to the reflections on the glass.)
The little girl on the swing is enchanting! They’re all terrific, but she’s my favorite.

Thank you, my dear! That one was a challenge that I don’t think I’d want to tackle again, but it did turn out pretty well, didn’t it?

They are all delightful!
I know what you mean about not wanting to remove them from the frame to scan them. I had an old photo in a frame and I tried scanning it (frame and all) on a good quality Epson scanner. The result was excellent. I tried the same thing on a cheap HP, and the result was terrible!

That and the fact that I’m too damn lazy. 🙂 Thanks for your comment!

Thank you! I guess twenty years of working as a dental hygienist has paid off by giving me some degree of manual dexterity. 🙂
