The best part of this is Superman turning away but looking back in disdain. “I believe in truth, justice, and the American way. I’m not going to find any of those things here.”
I saw your excellent comment on Jenny Lawson’s blog and recognized the author from someone who comments on Juanita Jean’s blog. Your moniker has intrigued me since the first time I saw it. I have never known anyone who proudly claims to be Texas Trailer Park Trash. It was a revelation to me because I, too, am from the Texas Trailer Park crowd. But, I have spent most of my life trying to get away from it like toilet paper stuck to my shoe. When you used it in such a brash way it helped lessen the stigma for me. Thank you for that.
Oh, aren’t you sweet! I have to confess that even though I don’t originally hail from a Texas trailer park, I have lived in some pretty sketchy places starting when I was 18, pregnant right out high school, and in a “shotgun” marriage. And that was in 1965. Talk about stigmas!
Don’t EVER be ashamed of where you come from, you hear? You are not defined by that. And besides, it probably makes good blog material. 🙂 Have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for commenting and y’all come back!
I keep expecting her to show up. After all it is Halloween, the night of witches and goblins.

She’s the witchiest, all right, but her craziness has spread far and wide. The Donald probably requires proof, too.

Thank you! And I was also going for the fact that even little children would recognize what a whackadoodle Bachmann is.

Love the turkey people in the header. I wish their turkey waddles didn’t look so familiar.
